Scarlette Moretta, leader of Kloxley and the Kloxlian Mob, is a refined vampire who uses her position of power and control over her sub-region to live in wealth and decadence. She has a taste for fine things, with contacts all over Mefu to import fine wines and high quality meat not otherwise available in Kloxley. She's married to a blood spirit-fae hybrid, Coulotte, who works as a street magician. The two met at Scarlette's 705th birthday party, where Coulotte had been hired as entertainment, with the intention of having her killed at the end. however, Scarlette was amused by her and instead requested for her to stay.
Over time, the two bonded, eventually entering a formal romantic relationship, and later getting married.
